Elved wins Welsh Masters Event 3

In another strong entry, Pwllheli's Elved Evans came through to win his second consecutive Masters Event in beating Darrren Morgan in the Final.

All day he looked in imperious form and looked a winner from the start in beating Steve Thomas, John Mills and Byron Sage in the Semi, with breaksof 62 and 72 clearance. On the way to the final, Darren Morgan had beaten Ron Jones, John Perrin and Ian Sargeant in the Semi, but Sargeant had a run Morgan close and could have reversed the outcome.
