Price wins his first Welsh Men's Event!

Marcel PriceMarcel Price (Swansea) won his first Welsh Men’s ranking tournament when he won Event 4 at the Matchroom, Llanelli.

Price produced consistent form all day to beat Welsh internationals Peter Roscoe (Pwllheli), Lee Walker (Newbridge) and Gareth Allen (Ewloe) in the final.

Allen reached another final with comfortable victories over Newport’s John Bevan and Stephen Ellis (Swansea).

Despite struggling with a heavy cold World Amateur finalist Lee Walker made the highest breaks of the day with fine 97 against Price and a superb 109 clearance against Clarke.
