Barry's Sam Thomas wins Welsh 19's event three

Barry's Sam Thomas continued his excellent run of form by winning this event. He reached the final with superb wins over junior internationals Jamie Clarke and Tom Rees.

Rhydian ap Owen made the long trip down from Aberystwyth to reach his second consecutive final, also beating junior internationals along the way.

The final saw Sam in confident mood as he romped to victory but this was another good result for Rhydian, who despite not playing in Welsh events for several years, now looks well set for a top four place with only one event left.
