Elfed Evans wins Welsh Masters Championship
Elfed Evans confirmed he is the best Masters (over 40) player in Wales when he trounced Darren Morgan by three frames to nil in the final of the Welsh Masters Championship at the TG Matchroom in Llanelli where the playing conditions were first class.
It has been a great season for the Pwllheli man whohas won three events and been a finalist twice.
There were notable performances from Newport's Alun Squire taking Evans to the final frame in their quarter-final match, Dean Morgan (Mountain Ash) who earns his first Welsh International waistcoat with his consistency this season, David Parker and Dean Thomas.
