Under 16s Event 5 Result
Tyler Rees produced an excellent performance to win U16 event 5 with a 3-2 win against Jackson Page in what proved to be an excellent final between 2 very good young players.
Tyler raced into a 2-0 lead only for Jackson to level at 2-2 and lead by 49 points in the decider but Tyler played superbly to come back and win the frame on the blue. Tyler should also be commended for calling two fouls on himself in the final which nobody else saw.
In the semi finals Tyler had a comfortable 3-0 win over Jack Martin while Jackson fought back from 2-1 behind and needing a snooker on the pink in the 4th frame to edge Callum Matthews 3-2.
