Welsh Amateur Seniors Championship, 2014-15
The first semi-final between Jamie Clarke and Daniel Wells was played at Merthyr Labour Club on Saturday, 25th April 2015, with Daniel Wells coming out on top.
Jamie Clarke started the match in impressive form and raced into 3-0 lead but Daniel Wells won a close fourth frame on the pink to reduce the defecit. Then Wells won 5 frames on the trot including two century breaks to lead 5 frames to 3. Clarke fought back to tie the match and set up the deciding frame. However Wells made a 65 break to clinch the decider to win 6 frames to 5.
He will now play the winner of Darren Morgan and Elfed Evans in the Final.
