Welsh Under 14s Event Two - Results
The final Welsh Snooker event before Christmas took place at the weekend, with thirteen young plays battling it out on the Red Triangle baize.
With Rhys Morgan, Ryan Bowgen and Jacob Boyle seeded, there were 5 preliminary matches. Harvey Rees, Oliver Bridle and Oscar Vaughan all won 2-1, whilst Liam Davies and Luke James notched up 2-0 wins.
The last 8 stage saw Rhys, Liam and Jacob comfortably through 2-0 whilst Ryan was a 2-1 winner.
The first semi final was a tight affair, Rhys beating Liam 2-1. Ryan saw off Jacob 2-0 to make the final a repeat of Event 1
The final was again close between two evenly matched youngsters, with Rhys winning the deciding frame for a 3-2 victory.
In the plate competition semi finals, Oliver Payne and Regan Rooker beat Ben Massey and Jamie Reader respectively to make the final, which Oliver won 2-0
