Mens Event Four Finals (Updated)
Ex pro Andrew Pagett won the Jack Carney Mens Event, beating two North Wales players en-route. The quarter final v Jack Bradford was closer than it looked, Andrew potted a thin cut black which looked like a 3-0 whitewash only to go in off in the green pocket 3 seconds later, but eventually ran out 3-1 winner. Highest break of the day was a 75 by David John in the final narrowly missing yellow when he looked odds on for a century with all colours spotted. Alex Taubman retains number one spot despite losing in the semi, a 54 in 3rd frame leaving Andrew requiring 2 snookers which he got and won on the black. The only match which went the full distance was the final with David being 1-0 and 2-1 ahead, closely losing the 4th, Andrew finally sealed it with a 65 in deciding frame.
