IBSF - World 6 Reds Result
The IBSF 6 Reds title was decided yesterday, with Darren Morgan taking the win 6 frames to 4 against Chau Hon Man from Hong Kong, who beat Andrew Pagett in the semi final to prevent al all Welsh match.
Breaks of 70, 34 and 33 in the second and third frames put Darren 2-1 up and despite a 37 by his opponent in the 4th, tight safety play and a few small breaks allowed Darren to take the frame by 5 points. The 5th frame went Darren's way too before Chau Hon Man took his second frame, 4-2 to the Welshman.
In the 7th Frame, Darren moved to within 1 frame of victory. A spirited fight back from the Hong Kong player saw the score pulled bay to 5-4, but the next frame proved to be the decisive one, 38-21 to Darren.
Congratulations to Darren on his win, to Andrew for reaching the semi finals and also to Jamie Clarke for getting the highest break in the Team competition, a brilliant 131.
