Under 21s Event One - Result
With the loss of some of last years players due to age limit, 13 players were in attendance down at Brackla.
The standard of play on the day was of the highest calibre with 10 breaks of 50 plus recorded. The performance of the day must be with Daniel Williams who defeated last years number 2 seed Tyler Rees in the quarter final and narrowly lost to the number 3 seed Ryan Rowlands in the semi final by 3 frames to 2. By far his best career results to date, showing the gap to the top players may be closing.
The match of the day was the semi final between Ben Fortey & Jackson Page with Ben breaking down on 91 with 3 reds still available, but Jackson, not to be outdone missed a final black ball to end his break in the next frame on 96. The final was a high class, fast potting clash between Jackson Page & Ryan Rowlands with Jackson coming out on top by 3 frames to 1.
