IBSF World Mens and Masters Championships 2016 - Monday
Monday's matches have all finished, with the Welsh contingent winning all their matches.
First up was Alex Taubman, playing Sri Lankan Mohamed Fazil. The only hiccup for Alex came in the second frame when his opponent took the frame on the black, before Alex got back into his stride and rode out a winner by 4-1. Jamie Clarke proved to be far too measured for Shu Seng Chua, comfortsably outscoring the Singapore player as he won 4-0. Andrew Pagett found himself in a titanic battle against Ang Boon Chin from Singapore, going 2-3 behind before taking the match 4-3, with breaks of 87, 85 and 60 on the way.
Steven Thomas finally got his campaign underway today, against Frenchman Stephane Ochoiski. Although the first frame went against him, the next three didn't and a well earned 3-1 win was his reward for waiting all weekend.
More action tomorrow...
