Under 21s Event Four Results

A chilly winters morning seemed to keep some youngsters in bed, with just ten players contesting this 4th event in the under 21s series.

Jackson Page reached the final without dropping a frame, defeating Daniel Williams and then his rival Dylan Emery by 3 - 0 score lines.

Ben Forty seemed to be the form player in the bottom half of the draw. He put out Junior international Ryan Rowlands 3 - 1 before a superb run of breaks 78,76 and 57 against event 3 winner Tyler Rees put him into the final.  

The final saw Jackson race into a 2 - 0 lead. Ben led by 30 in the next only for Jackson to make a quick fire 64 break, this looked like winning him the match only for Ben to come storming back with a 40 clearance. he also won the next to level at 2 - 2. The final frame became slightly scrappy until Jackson showing his great potential compiled a good 51 under pressure which took him over the line for another win.

Some excellent snooker throughout the day despite such a small entry with a string of good breaks being recorded including - Callum Matthews 53,40. Ben Fortey 78,78,76,57,41. Jackson Page 66,61,64,51.
