EBSA 2017 Under 18s - Knock Out stage
Following progression by all the Welsh players into the Knock Out stage, Jackson Page remains the last man standing as we head into the quarter finals.
Jackson beat Russian Kirill Petrov 3-0 before meeting Dylan Emery in the last 16. As you'd expect from two players who have played each other so often this year, this went to a decider with Jackson coming out on top.
Josh White came from 2-0 down to force a decider against Petrov and certainly went down fighting. Conor Caniff had two good wins before bowing out, beating Lithuanian Marius Stanaitis 3-1 and Ross Bullman of the Republic of Ireland 3-2. Russian Ivan Kakovsky was in fine form and too hot for Conor today. Tyler Rees's reign as champion came to an end againsgt Aaron Hill of Ireland in the last 32, trading blows throughout but for today it was not to be.
The Quarter Finals are in play in the morning and promise to be a feast of snooker. Details will be updated HERE as we can
