IBSF 2017 - World Under 21 Results
The U21 tournament finished recently, with all of the Welsh players reaching at least the last 16.
Jackson Page and Dylan Emery both went out in the last 16 in deciding frames, with Tyler Rees edging Jackson to progress to the quarter finals. Ben Fortey also reached the QF in fine style with a 5-1 win, unfortunately finding his next opponent Luo Honghao to be in fine form.
Tyler however reached the Semi FInals, where he also played Luo Honghao. Whilst the first two frames were shared, Luo Honghao rattled off the next 5 to take his place in the final and bring the Welsh interest in the competition to an end.
The final was won by Fan Zhengyi of China
