Masters Event One - Results

The Masters chalked up and broke off their season down at Redz on the 2nd October.

The entry list included a couple of old faces, with both John Breeze and Viv Rosser returning after a short break from the competitions. John made a decent run to the semi finals, losing out to the eventual winner.

There wer some very tight matches in the early rounds. Keith Thomas nearly pulled off a notable win, losing 2-3 to Wayne Morgan, Tony Morgan edged out Gerald Brain. Alun Squire's run of form continued with a 3-2 win over John-Henry Griffiths in round 2, Tony Chappell beat Tony Morgan 3-2 and Dave Parker did the same to Rik Washer.

The final was played out by Wayne Morgan and Tony Chappell, with Wayne sealing a well deserved 3-1 win.
