EBSA Under 18s 2018 - Group Stages
The group stages have taken place over the last two days and have seen some great results for our boys.
Dylan Emery finished as #1 seed after not dropping a frame in his 3 matches. Jackson Page let one frame slip through his fingers to take 8th seeding. Conor Caniff takes 16th seed, dropping 2 frames and Lewis Sinclair 20th spot, with only 3 frames going against him. Bradley Tyson was unable to make it through the group stages, but it is important to note that his group was partifularly strong. His third place stats would have seen him through in other groups, so clearly he'll be back again.
The knockout draw will prevent an all Welsh final as all four are in the top half. If Dylan and Conor win their next matches, they will meet in the last 16, with Jackson potentially waiting for the winner in the quarter finals. Lewis is near the bottom of the top half and a good run by all could see an all Welsh semi final at least.
