EBSA Under 21s - Knockouts
Today could have gone better for our boys, as 4 bowed out. Conor Caniff took the opening frame in his Last 57 appearance, but was beaten 4-1. Lewis Butcher did not make it to the table and defaulted from the competition.
Dylan Emery made it to the last 32, having beaten Dean Young of Scotland 4-1 earlier. Jackson had 4-2 and 4-0 wins before losing the deciding frame to talented Frenchman Brian Ochoiski.
And so to Tyler Rees - his strong group stage performance gave him a very creditable 3rd seeding. Sybren Sokolowski, Hamim Hussain and Mateus Baranowski were all sent home 4-1, 4-0 and 4-3 respectively and as a result, Tyler lines up in the semi final tomorrow morning, facing Ross Bulman of the Republic of Ireland.
Although not on the live stream, the scoring can be followed HERE
