The 3rd frame was almost a repeat of the 1st frame with Kishan getting in first with another 24 and then Andrew clearing the table with the highest break of the day 111. Kishan wasn't to be overwhelmed though and won the 4th frame with a well constructed 69. The final deciding frame was a close affair with Andrew seeing a blue rebound out of the middle bag whilst on a 25 break and Kishan stepping in to take the decider 55 - 25.
Semi Final 2
Referee Keith Pask at short notice
Alex Taubman won the opening frame 62-12, Darren Morgan although suffering with a bad back managed to win the next frame 72-25. Alex had a 45 break to claim the 3rd by 56 points to 11. Darren struggled on to win a very close 4th frame 56-48. The deciding frame saw Alex play some excellent safety and run out the winner 54-14
Final
Subsequently the final was between the top 2 players in the current ranking list.
Kishan having won the last 2 Ranking events started the final confidently and won the 1st frame 58-43. Alex wasn't to be phased and showed why he was second in the rankings by winning the next 2 frames with breaks of 39 and 59. Kishan was unlucky in the 3rd frame when on a break of 8 he played a cannon to move the yellow off the cush and saw the white stay glued to the side rail and roll up it into the yellow pocket.
The 4th frame was very close with both players being tentative and not being able to make a clear opening Alex eventually won it on the black 58-53, leapfrogging Kishan to take #1 in the rankings
Finall score 3-1
