Welsh Snooker Open Day

This weekend saw Welsh Snooker pitch up at the St Elli Shopping Centre in Llanelli, to riase awareness of the sport amongst the boys and girls out shopping with their parents.

Two Junior Star tables were set up in the main concourse, with John Dobson, Gordon Pantall, Byron Philips, John Pellew, John Terry and others in attendance throughout the day.

With the weather as it was, there were probably more children in attendance than normal, with no real option of playing outside. The tables were in use from the start right up until closing time, with many boys and girls getting a taste of the game and some useful hints and tips from the officials and players who gave up their day to spread the word.
