Under 18s Event 5 Results

Nine players turned up to the 5th Event of the U18 season at Red Triangle Crosskeys. There was 1 withdrawal (Bradley Tyson) the night before from the event which left only 1 prelim to qualify for the quarter finals.

Congratulations to Dylan Emery who showed why he is one of the most promising Juniors in Europe at the moment by beating Ryan Bowgen 3-1 in the final. Dylan took the first 2 frames comfortably before Ryan pinched the 3rd frame on the black but as Dylan has shown a few times of late his long safety, long potting
and breaking building was too strong and secured a solid victory.

Notable mention goes to Ryan Bowgen. Over the last 12 months his game has improved massively as it showed on reaching the final as he took no time in beating Harry Bond 3-1, Jacob Boyle 3-0 and U14/16 #1 Liam Davies 3-0 in the semi final.
