Under 21s Championship

The final youth Championship round was played out at Scala this weekend, with an interesting line up in the final demonstrating the depth in the youth field.

The top half of the draw saw Dylan Emery through to the final beating Conor Caniff (3-1) and Rhys Morgans (3-0) in a convincing display with both Conor and Rhys themselves having 3-1 wins over Alfie Davies and Luke James in earlier rounds.

The bottom section of the draw featured some close battles. Ciaran Paul and Tyler Rees came throght their Last 16 matches 3-0 victors, but both lost out 3-2 to Liam Davies and Bradley Tyson, who contested the semi final. Bradley will count himself unlucky to lose 2-3, but the win put Liam in the final of his fourth Championship of the season.

Ultimately the experience of Dylan paid dividends in the final, running in breaks of 56 and 64 en route to a deserved 3-0 win.
