Under 18s Event 2 Results

Cue Snooker Club at Aberaman was the venue for the recent Under 18s Event 2, which saw Liam Davies return to form.

Liam was in the top half of the draw and saw off Jack Taylor and the improving Jack Annalls both by three frames to nil to make his way to the final.

Ollie Briffett Payne found Riley Powell to be an ever improving threat, coming out a 3-2 winner in their tie, with Dainton Barrass beating Zac Cosker by the same scoreline to line up a tasty semi final clash. Oliver was, however, in fine form and booked his place in the final 3-0.

Liam and Ollie faced each other in Event 1 and Olliehad comeout on top that time. Maybe feeling he had a point to prove, Liam potted his way to a convincing 3-0 win.

Top breaks of the day were 93, 75, 60 & 58 by Liam, 62 by Riley and 43 from Ollie.
